Re: Polish synthetic AK mags now for sale at AIM (nice!)
Question, what are the advantages of a synthetic mag ?
I'm thinking they're ideal in very cold weather. |

Lighter than steel, don't rust, etc. The Radom ones from Poland have noticeably less side-to-side wobble when inserted into an AK's mag well, which is another plus. These are good ones, I ordered a bunch.

Also have a bunch in 5.45x39 that work great. This is the factory that makes small arms for their military. I agree the bullet mags blow. Were those actual circle 10 mags or just "made in bulgaria"? |

What happened with the bullet mags? Did the black/OD/plum 30-round waffles suffer from similar problems?

Those Polish mags are mil spec...you don't see them very often. Bulgie ((10)) waffles are mil spec, metal reinforced and you shouldn't have any probs. I use them myself. |
